Encouraging women to speak freely since 2025.

We are the only openly and proudly single-sex society for women at the University of Cambridge.

We are officially registered with both the University of Cambridge and the Students’ Union.

Founded in October 2025 by three young women, CUSW is a student society led for and by women, with a women-only membership.

We are a non-partisan organisation dedicated to providing a space for free speech, discussion and association between women.

Since our launch, we have hosted guest speakers covering topics pertaining to women and our rights, issues and causes. These include pornography, female genital mutilation, prostitution, intergenerational feminism and more. We also hold fun social events for our members.

We use this website, along with our social media pages, to provide members and non-members with news and updates about our events, campaigns and growth.
